The PB&J Run starts at Albert Whitted Park and winds down the waterfront, offering scenic 5K and 10K courses. The event is tailored to competitive runners and beginners alike, offering certified closed courses, chip-timing, race-branded shirts, custom finisher medals, cash prizes, and a post-race “JAMboree” with dozens of vendors, music and unlimited PB&J sandwiches for all participants.

The PB&J Run is a popular event that attracts runners from all over the country. In addition to the in-person event, the organizers also offer a virtual run for anyone who loves the PB&J Run but cannot make it to St. Pete in September.

The event is organized to support a good cause, and 100% of the proceeds go to support the children and family services of local 501 (c)(3) non-profit Directions for Living. The event raises an average of $50,000 annually to help individuals who are living with a mental illness, who are homeless or housing unstable, and those experiencing other traumas.
