Rowdies to take on Bethlehem Steel FC in 2018 Season Home Opener


Our favorite season on Beach Drive is kicking off tomorrow night. That’s right, it’s the Rowdies Home Opener. Get ready to fill your Saturday nights with green and gold glory. To watch the sun set and the goals drive in to our opponents nets at Al Lang. Following a highly successful 2017 season, complete with an exciting playoff season, the Rowdies will go head-to-head against Bethlehem Steel FC.

Last weekend, both the Rowdies and Bethlehem Steel FC opened their seasons with wins. The Rowdies went 3-1 over North Carolina FC with goals from Leo Fernandes, Georgi Hristov, and Jack Blake. Since 2010, the Rowdies have gone unbeaten in home openers, with a record of 3-0-5 (W-L-T). Last year, the Rowdies topped Orlando City B in the home opener.

Bethlehem Steel FC opened their season with a dominant 4-1 home win over the Richmond Kickers last weekend, and reached top of the early-season Eastern Conference Standings.

Parking
