RibFest is an institution in St. Petersburg – and for good reason. In it’s 28th year, this three-day charity fundraiser gathers the best BBQ “ribbers” in the world for your feasting pleasures. It also boasts nationally touring musical talent on two stages, playing classic and southern rock and country. Past performers include rock legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Huey Lewis and the News, and Doobie Brothers; as well as country superstars like Chris Young, Kip Moore, Chase Rice, and many more. But RibFest sets itself apart even further in its purpose. Over the last 28 years, RibFest has donated over 4.8 million dollars to over 40 charities, making a major difference in the lives of St. Pete’s kids.
