Movies in the Park – Mamma Mia! Oct. 5th

Movies in the Park is an annual tradition in St. Petersburg!

Where can you join the fun? North Straub Park – Beach Dr. between 4th & 5th Ave NE.

This October marks the 8th season for Movies in the Park.  The movies and music events are produced by Saint Petersburg Preservation.

Movies are FREE! Pay-What-You-Can Donation is appreciated. 🙂

Dusk – Movie

Mamma Mia (2008) PG-13 – With Meryl Streep & Pierce Brosnan. A wonderful musical with a lot of laughs!

Music by Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones starts at 6pm. This nationally touring band swings with loads of energy and style. They deliver traditional blues, West Coast and Texas swing, and early 50’s roots rock. Deming is a ferocious guitarist whether swingin’ on the big jazz box, or playing straight up blues on the solid body Fender guitar. Add bass, drums, and a world renowned harmonica player and you get the real deal rocking’ rhythm & blues!

Purchase food & drink from our vendors or bring your own picnic. Bring a blanket or low seat (some folding chairs available), your friends, family and even your pup. This is a dog friendly event!

Cold beer from Flying Boat Brewing Co. will be available for donation at the Jump for Kids FL tent!

A great way to get to Movies in the Park is on bicycle! Pick up a bike from one of the many Coast Bike Share stations. Two convenient stations are located on either side of North Straub Park. If you bring your own bike, secure, on-site bicycle valet parking will be available thanks to Coast Bike Share!
