New American Coastal Cuisine, inspired by Aesop’s Fable


From the esteemed owners of Allelo, a new restaurant, Juno & the Peacock, is shaking up the local dining scene in St. Petersburg’s most elegant district, Beach Drive.

Juno & the Peacock serves New American Coastal Cuisine inspired by Aesop’s Fable, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the Sunshine City. Led by industry veteran executive chef Drew Dimitrovski and proudly partnering with St. Pete vendors like Brick Street Farms, Juno & the Peacock emphasizes fresh, locally sourced ingredients and in-house preparations.

The diverse menu redefines coastal classics with inventive flair alongside American staples like handhelds, flatbreads and dry-aged steaks to create a memorable dining experience showcasing the culinary team’s creativity and passion. Savor seafood dishes like the lobster tail escargot or share a grand plateau from the raw bar with lobster salad, smoked salmon, crab Louie, shrimp cocktail and oysters. Brunch lovers can enjoy house-made pastries, signature salads and morning mains like Benedict Oscar.

With wine director Michelle Richards at the helm, the carefully curated wine offerings— ranging from over 1,400 choices primarily sourced from New World regions —will require guests to return, time and again, to explore and savor each selection.

The cocktail menus at Juno & the Peacock and Pluma were cleverly designed under the guidance of acclaimed beverage director Ingi Sigurdsson. Journey through 130 years of cocktail history at Juno & the Peacock, which features modern takes on the most popular, iconic and culturally significant cocktails from each decade.

“St. Pete is attracting national attention as a dynamic hub for creativity across industries like food and beverage, hospitality, and the arts,” said co-owner Jeanna Damkoehler. “We look forward to being a part of our city’s culinary evolution and, most importantly, serving our local community, who have supported us in opening our sister concept, and met the news of Juno & the Peacock and Pluma with such excitement.”

Embodying laid-back Floridian elegance with a nod to mission nouveau and the roaring ’60s, the striking design characterized by retro sophistication and vibrant hues captures the city’s energy. The design mirrors the restaurant’s vibrant flavors, textures and artful presentation.

The interior design was executed by the award-winning firm, AvroKO; and the visual identities of Juno & the Peacock and Pluma were created by Brand Bureau, one of AvroKO’s sister studios. Each drew inspiration from the region’s aviation history and innovative spirit, enhanced by international influences, to craft original concepts which feel distinctly local.

Juno & the Peacock is located at 400 Beach Dr. NE in St. Petersburg, Florida. Lunch hours are Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner hours are Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
